Experimental Ring

Silver, wax

Circumference: 0.8”

Total Length: 1.7”

2024

I first made this ring out of wax scraps that I pieced together. The ring was then filled with silver through the lost-wax casting method. I wanted to create something that would look like metal pieces thrown together in a pile, but yet still look cohesive. I do believe that I achieved this. I love wearing this ring out and about. I also admire its incidental resemblance to a flower, which reflects my constant inspiration from nature.
